I created Make YouTube Boring, a Chrome extension that helps reduce distractions on YouTube by modifying its interface. This privacy policy explains what data I collect, how I use it, and your rights.

Data I Collect

Personally Identifiable Information

• Name: Your display name from Google account
• Email: Your email address from Google account
• User ID: Your Google account identifier

Authentication Information

• OAuth tokens: Temporary access tokens for Google authentication

Website Content

• YouTube page elements: Video titles, images, and page structure (read-only for modification, never stored)

Future Data Collection

• Financial information: If I implement payment features, I may collect payment method details through Stripe

• Cooldown management: To enforce a 24-hour limit between feedback submissions

Where I Store Data

• Supabase database: For storing feedback and user information
• Local browser storage: For your boring level preferences and cooldown timestamps

• OAuth tokens are temporary and not stored permanently
• Database access is restricted with API keys
• No sensitive data is logged or stored in plain text
